Summer Hill Public School, established in 1883, is a Kindergarten to Year 6, Comprehensive, Coed Primary School in Summer Hill. It is an historic inner-west school with a vibrant community of around 650 students. We serve a culturally diverse and educationally engaged community that values high expectations, inclusion, and a love of learning. Summer Hill Public School has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, offering Opportunity Classes for Years 5 and 6 since 1937. We provide a wide variety of enrichment programs including bands and orchestras, choir, drama, debating, chess, and PSSA sport, that allow every student to explore their passions and shine beyond the classroom.
We are proud of our strong partnership with an enthusiastic and active P&C, who work closely with the school to create engaging events and opportunities that bring our community together.
