WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
Year 3, 4 and 6 have been making voice over animations in drama all about plastics and what we can do to improve our recycling in the school and around our world.
Create East Auditions
Congratulations all students who attended the 2017 Create East auditions and may be selected to perform at NIDA this year! The choir auditions took place at Summer Hill with students from over 20 different schools attending.
Stencil the Drains
Our local council came to visit us and as part of a new initiative to stencil the drains and take care of our waterways they asked us to perform in their short film. Our students created shapes and gave messages using the House Teams for Habitat team mascots.
RECONCILIATION WEEK
2TJ performed Stories for Simon at assembly. The book gives a beautiful message about saying Sorry and learning about the Stolen Generations.
Year 2 - Horrible Harriet
After seeing the production at the Riverside Theatre with all of Kindergarten and Year 1, The Year Two students re-enacted some scenes such as 'lights out' and the cauldron scene.
