Drama & Dance 2019

All Year 6 students participated in this year’s show, The Road to Home. This original story included playbuilt drama and original songs. There were musicians, singers, dancers and lighting and sound technicians. We even had our very own song writers and composers using digital electronics. A big thank you to all of the artists, designers and teachers behind the scenes too. We all worked very hard and had a lot of fun. Well done Year 6.

On Thursday 14th November all of Stage 3 witnessed the Treehouse Theatre's powerful  annual production, Suitcase Stories.

YEAR FOUR  STAGING, PROPS AND  IPAD PHOTOGRAPHY

We looked at the picture book The Runaway Circus by Gordon Reece and used physical theatre to create images inspired by the book as well as character study and writing.

Congratulations Lloyd S who attended the Arts Unit Dance Workshop and Zoe C & James S who attended The ATYP Primary Drama Workshop.

Ten representatives from our school attended the CREATE EAST workshops in July this year and performed in an integrated production at NIDA.

Students in Year 1 and Year 2 have been creating puppet plays showing empathy for our animal friends.

Year 5 and 6 students performed a whole class play for The Year of the Pig.
