'Great to have them back': Inner west schools all set for kids' return

Public schools across the inner west are preparing to welcome back students of all age groups today with a mix of "excitement and trepidation".

Last week the staggered return to classrooms in NSW began with students in kindergarten and Year 1 returning to school. Summer Hill Public School principal Natalie Armstrong said the return of the youngest students went "much better than expected" and was more positive than she "could have ever imagined".
